Pawan Kalyan is an Indian film actor, director, screenwriter, stunt coordinator, writer, and politician. His film mainly acting in Telugu cinema ,kalyan made his acting debut in 1996 Telugu film Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi. In 1998, he starred in Tholi Prema which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu for that year.

Pawan Kalyan actual name is Konidela Kalyan Babu, re-christened himself as Pawan Kalyan with his first film, Akkada Abbai Ikkada Ammayi, in 1996. He has worked in several critically and commercially successful films and has established himself as one of the leading actors in Telugu cinema. Pawan Kalyan was born in Chirala father Sri Venkat Rao and mother Smt Anjana Devi. Pawan Kalyan married Renu Desai, an actress who co-starred with him in the movies Badri and Johnny.He was listed 26th in the Forbes India list of top 100 Celebrities of 2013. In a poll conducted by NDTV, listed Pawan Kalyan, as the most searchable Indian celebrity politician on Google.

He seems to have a fetish for Japan, as he spent two years learning the martial art Aikido for his first directorial venture, Johnny, and has named his child after his favourite filmmaker, Akira Kurosawa.

Pawan Kalyan launched Jana Sena Party which is an Indian political party in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, in March 2014. Jana Sena which means People's Army in Telugu language. On March 10, 2014 he submitted an application for registering the party name. Pawan Kalyan formally launched the party at HICC (Hyderabad International Convention Centre) Madhapur on 14 March 2014. The party has been approved by the election commission on 11 December 2014.

He is known for his works in films Gokulamlo Seetha, Suswagatham, Thammudu, Badri, Kushi, Jalsa, Gabbar Singh for which he received the Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Telugu, and Attarintiki Daredi which became the highest grossing Telugu film of all time. He was listed 26th in the Forbes India list of top 100 Celebrities of 2013.As of 2014, he holds a net worth of ₹185 million (US$2.8 million).

Biography

Pawan Kalyan was born as Konidala Kalyan Babu on 2 September 1971, in Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh. He has stopped his studies with intermediate. He was awarded the title "Pawan", symbolizing Hanuman. That's the moment, he started using the name Pawan Kalyan. He is a trained Martial Artist and holds a black belt in karate. He publicly performed his martial arts skills at several auditoriums and fils as well. In October 2007, Pawan has started an organization called Common Man Protection Force(CMPF) and has contributed Rs. 1 crore INR towards the corpus fund. In 2014, a STAR India survey ranked Pawan Kalyan as one of Top 5 Heroes of India.

Pawan Kalyan is currently busy with his upcoming film Sardaar Gabbar Singh. As per the sources, after this the actor has given his nod to Dil Raju's next project. This will be a first association for the busy producer with the superstar. Dil Raju confirmed that, "I've always wished to work with Pawan Kalyan. When we met, he said let's do a project together. I was thrilled. Nothing has been finalized yet. We are on the lookout for a suitable story and director".
